World Class Surfing
within a seven mile radius of the town,
La Pastora 5km north of Todos Santos - Right Point.
San Pedrito turn off at Km 59 south of Todos Santos - Reef Break
Cerritos turn off at Km 65 south of Todos Santos - Beach & Reef Break. See map. see complete list below

For those seeking snorkelling The Sea of Cortez has many fabulous sites They are mostly located around 60 Klms from Todos Santos. See our links to Cabo San Lucas and La Paz.
There are two swimming beaches one at Cerritos and the other is Palm Beach.

Beaches in the area:
  • LAS POCITAS

    Northwest of town.
Take Topete north through the palm valley, follow the dirt road. Beautiful beach, but watch for the waves and undertow when there is a big swell. A better beach for surfing than swimming.

  • LA PASTORA

North of town, take Topete (mid town) to the north.
The paved road turns to dirt...keep going...past the Agua Blanca campground signs.
Good beach for surfing, body surfing, boogie boards!

  • PLAYA PUNTA LOBOS

Located south of town at Km. 54, then west 1.5 miles to the beach.
The closest beach to 'downtown' Todos Santos. A beautiful beach used by the local fisherman, usually departing through early in the morning, and returning between 1 and 3 p.m. Watching the fishermen negotiate the waves in and out is quite a show!

  • PLAYA LAS PALMAS

South of town at Km. 57, then west for 1.5 miles.
One of the most spectacular beaches in southern Baja, and also a good swimming beach! This property surrounding the beach is privately owned, so easy access is limited to the hours of 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., and camping is not permitted.

  • PLAYA SAN PEDRITO

South of town, west at Km. 59, then 1.5 miles to the beach.

  • PLAYA LOS CERRITOS

Located well south of Todos Santos at Km. 64. Then take the dirt road 1.5 miles to the beach. Now has a beach bar ,restaurant, toilets and showers.
Miles of open beaches, and some of the safest beaches near Todos Santos for swimming. A great place for shell collecting, or just walking in the sand.

The music/dancing scene is also hot. There are regular gigs every week. Those with an artistic or writing bent can find an outlet in the various groups catering to the development of these talents.Check out our what's happening on our NEWS page

Fishing

Articles courtsey of www.bajaexpo.com

Fishing in the waters off of Todos Santos can be very productive! Most of the different types of fish that reside in southern Baja waters also call the waters off of Todos Santos home. These fish include marlin, yellowtail, dorado, roosterfish, swordfish, wahoo and many more. Todos Santos, however, is not really set up as a fishing town, as the facilities and services an hour south in Cabo San Lucas are tough to compete with. However, fishing from pangas can be quite an adventure for those who are prepared for the launching and landings through the waves at Punta Lobos, south of town near Km. 54.

Fishing usually gets started between 6:30 to 6:45 in the morning, will last until lunch time, and will run you about $200 U.S.

For fishing in nearby Cabo San Lucas drop by our extensive CABO FISHING section.

And for fishing information in other parts of Baja check out our main BAJA FISHING section!

For more information on obtaining the proper fishing documentation required for dipping your hook in Baja waters check with the professionals at MEXICO ADVISORY SERVICES.

For those looking for a break from the crowds, Todos Santos offers excellent surf casting off of the many sandy beaches, including:

  • PUNTA LOBOS

One mile south of town, west to beach.

  • PLAYA SAN PEDRO

Between Km. 56 and 57, head west to bluffs.
